Your recovery
I pay attention to your physical and emotional wellbeing and carefully monitor your healing and postnatal recovery.
The postnatal period
After birth comes a quiet, intense time. I support you at home as you get to know each other, grow in confidence and find your own rhythm.
Enquire about careTime for your family
It can be slow, changeable and entirely your own. Alongside joy, there may be exhaustion, uncertainty and many new questions. There is room for all of this during my visits.
I pay attention to your physical and emotional wellbeing and carefully monitor your healing and postnatal recovery.
Together, we look at weight, development, umbilical cord care and anything on your mind about caring for your baby.
Whether you are breastfeeding, supplementing or bottle-feeding, you receive practical, pressure-free support that fits your approach.
Personal care
During the first few days, I visit you regularly at home. I examine you and your baby, answer your questions and show you practical ways to care for your child. The father or your chosen second support person also has space to ask questions and gain confidence in caring for the baby and in their new role. This is not about following a rigid plan. Together, we look at what you need that day.
If breastfeeding starts differently from what you expected, your baby is unsettled, or you do not yet feel like yourself physically or emotionally, you do not have to face it alone. We take time to understand what is normal, what may ease the pressure and when further support would help.
You can grow into your new role – step by step and at your own pace.
