2. Providing this website

When you access this website, technically necessary connection data is processed, in particular your IP address, the time of access, the page accessed, and browser and device information. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning website pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Google Analytics sets analytics cookies only with your consent; our integration does not use marketing cookies. On our own domain, we use the visitor statistics described below.

3. Visitor statistics with GoatCounter

We use GoatCounter on hebamme-alb.de and www.hebamme-alb.de to understand how often our pages are visited and to improve our website. These statistics are disabled at the test address. The provider is Martin Tournoij, Ireland. According to the provider, data is processed on servers in Germany and Finland.

The information collected includes the page visited, the time, browser and device information, screen size and, where applicable, the referring website. We transmit only the page path, without query parameters or fragment identifiers, and only the domain including the protocol for the referring website. Our integration does not record form entries or individual clicks.

GoatCounter does not set cookies or use local browser storage for this purpose. The IP address is transmitted for technical reasons and, according to the provider, processed in memory together with browser information for up to eight hours to distinguish repeat visits; it is not stored in the statistics database. This analysis is based on our legitimate interest in improving our website pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If your browser has “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” enabled, we do not load the visitor statistics. Further information is available in the GoatCounter privacy information.

Google Analytics 4 – optional visitor statistics

Google Analytics is loaded only with your consent. You can change your choice and withdraw your consent at any time through “Statistics settings”. Information about Google Analytics, cookies, data transfers and withdrawing consent (in German).

4. Contact form and email

We use Web3Forms by Web3Creative, India, to send contact form submissions. Only when you submit the form are your name, email address, selected enquiry topics and optional details such as telephone number, postcode, place of residence and message transmitted to the service over an HTTPS connection and forwarded to our email inbox. Technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, is also processed. Loading the form alone does not establish a connection to Web3Forms.

Web3Forms processes the information as a data processor. According to the provider, processing may take place in India and other countries outside the EU or EEA. The provider provides in particular for EU Standard Contractual Clauses for this purpose. Web3Forms states a maximum retention period of three years for form submissions, unless a shorter period applies or the data is deleted earlier. Information about subprocessors, spam checks, storage and transfers is available in the Web3Forms privacy policy and the data processing agreement linked there.

We process your details to respond to your enquiry. For enquiries about arranging care, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other general enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is in handling the message addressed to us. You can also contact us by telephone or directly by email. Our email inbox is hosted by STRATO.

The form is intended solely for general and organisational enquiries. Please do not send health information, medical findings, due dates or information about the course of your pregnancy. We discuss medical questions in person. The form is not suitable for emergencies.

5. Images and external links

The images on this website are hosted locally. Linked external websites are accessed only when you click the relevant link; the respective provider’s privacy policy applies on those websites.

6. Retention period

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, provide care or meet statutory retention obligations. It is then deleted or blocked.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

8. Security and updates

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This privacy policy is updated when website functions or legal requirements change.
