Your birth is as individual as you are.
We begin preparing for your birth together during pregnancy. We talk about your wishes, your previous experiences and what helps you feel strong and secure. You are welcome to speak openly about fears and uncertainties, too.
Birth is a team effort: you, your baby, the midwife and – if he is part of your family – the father all belong to the team. He or your chosen second support person is prepared, listened to and included in shared plans. This helps everyone understand their role and contribute to a sense of calm, safety and trust.
When labour begins, I am reliably by your side. I protect your space, monitor how labour is progressing and support you with calm, encouragement and practical suggestions. You can move, try different positions and follow your body’s own rhythm.
It matters to me that you stay well informed and understand the decisions being made. At the same time, I keep a close eye on how you and your baby are doing. This brings together care that respects your autonomy and keeps safety in focus.
You do not have to perform or prove anything during birth. You can follow your own path – and I will walk alongside you.
